Buy your lease car when your contract ends

At Alphabet, you can buy your lease car at the end of your lease contract. An interesting and cost-effective option to explore if you're happy with your vehicle and wish to keep it.

How to buy your lease car

Step 1

When you initiate the buyout request, we will provide you with a buyout price. This offer is valid for 30 days and must be confirmed by you, the buyer, within this period. After 30 days, we will have to issue a new price proposal.

Step 2

Once an agreement is reached, our partner B2Cars will contact you to arrange the sale. B2Cars will send you the original registration certificate and inform you about the next steps.

Step 3

You will receive a technical inspection voucher from us. This voucher serves as a payment when you take the car for the required pre-sale inspection.

Step 4

After the inspection, you can submit the documents to your insurance agent. They will register and insure the vehicle.

Step 5

A few days after the car is registered, you will receive your new license plate at home.

Step 6

You pay the buyout price for the vehicle.

Step 7

Now, you can mount the new license plate on your car. Return the old license plate to Bpost as soon as possible. There, you will receive a "deletion certificate", which you should send to B2Cars along with the technical inspection documents. Once B2Cars has received the required documents and the buyout price, you will officially be the new owner of the vehicle, and your lease contract with Alphabet will end.
